EBS announces details of its FX offering for PTC

The EBSTM Prime offering is to be extended to the professional trading community (PTC), following a successful research and development effort. The news means that PTC customers, which include fund managers, hedge funds and commodity trading advisors (CTAs), will now be able to trade FX currency pairs on the EBSTM Spot dealing system, via an EBS Prime bank, with access to exceptional pricing and liquidity.
Jack Jeffery<br>CEO, EBS said: "The EBS Prime model is specifically designed to maintain the relationship between the banks and their customers. "EBS Prime banks are now able to market the EBS Prime offering to two specific financial services segments - smaller and regional banks, and the PTC." Key findings from the EBS R&D effort were that the professional trading community has added unique liquidity to the EBS Spot trading community, particularly in the Commonwealth currencies, by putting more quotes into the market.
