IFX Markets, a leading forex market maker, has entered into a
development agreement with Patsystems, the global supplier of
trading technology. IFX was founded in 1995 as a market maker in
spot and forward foreign exchange. It has developed an
internet-based multi-currency trading platform, IFX Direct, and
makes competitive prices in over 100 currency pairs. For
Patsystems, the agreement with IFX signals a move into cash markets
and is a major step outside its traditional boundaries. The
agreement will see Patsystems develop an interface that will feed
straight into IFXs trading system. Patsystems IFX adaptor will be
launched in early 2004 and will allow Patsystems to provide an FX
trading solution to its existing customers.
