Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL, DALRQ.PK), along with its joint venture
partners Air France-KLM (AFLYY.PK) and Italy's Alitalia SpA, said
Thursday they plan to reduce trans-Atlantic passenger capacity this
fall between Europe and the United States and Canada by 7 percent
to 9 percent from last year. The companies cited rising jet fuel
prices and fluctuating seasonal demand for the reduction in
passenger capacity.
