In a market where competition and technological advances result in ever increasing product development from eFX trading platform providers, corporate treasurers wishing to implement online dealing are faced with a changing array of solutions. In such a situation it is important initially to focus on an inward analysis of the treasury function to achieve a clear understanding of the key objectives for online dealing before launching into selection of a platform. Only when objectives are well understood, should treasurers map their requirements against the functionalities of the various platforms.
