News - ICor Brokerage Conquers Asia/Pacific - readies for European Launch
e-Forex Magazine July 2002 Issue 7
Having successfully launched its online broking platform in the Asia/Pacific region in January 2002, ICor Brokerage – A Reuters Venture, will now launch the latest version of its FX product in Europe. Jeff Larsen, CEO of ICor Brokerage, feels that the success of the Asia initiative led to substantial interest among banks in Europe in getting ICor on the desks. “Traders embraced the chance to move their brokerage on-line†said Larsen. “We started off with 14 banks trading in January and have completed installation on seven more since then - with additional Asia/Pacific banks installing in July and August.â€

The current version of the ICor system supports 9 currency pairs and includes new features such as OCO (one cancels other) and audible alerts. The European launch is slated for early July and US rollout is scheduled for later this summer.
